This DeHacker support six retail versions of Witchaven executable file WH.EXE:

(1) Witchaven from retail CD 1.0; 675280 bytes; 1995.09.04 00:34:18
(2) Witchaven Cheat Patch 1.0;    696011 bytes; 1995.10.12 17:49:36
(3) Witchaven Updates 1.1;        621249 bytes; 1995.11.08 15:21:00
(4) Witchaven VFX1 Headgear 1.1;  708021 bytes; 1996.01.09 10:09:30
(5) Witchaven for Dwango 1.1;     775163 bytes; 1996.01.12 11:25:10
(6) Witchaven from sources 1.1;   765149 bytes; 1996.03.05 10:19:38

Version (1) installed from the retail game CD.
Version (2), (3) and (4) can be obtained from game patches:
http://www.ag.ru/games/witchaven/patches/7371
http://www.ag.ru/games/witchaven/patches/7373
http://www.tankraider.com/VR/VFX1/patches/whvfx1.zip
And version (5) and (6) can be found in the released source codes of the game:
http://www.lesbird.com/capstone/

Unlike previous patch (on which this based) there are no final or
most recent version of the game. In contrast of PowerSlave / Exhumed
(where Exhumed was an updated and fixed version of PowerSlave) every
executable version of Witchaven have the unique set of features.

For example:
- version (3) and (6) don't have MSCDEX check code, so nocd option in
DeHacker for those versions will be ignored and always off;
- version (2) only one version which have additional cheat codes
("spinach", "gothmog" and "darkness");
- etc.

And even more - this new cheat codes not present in the relesed
source codes of the game!

It's looks like any new version of the game was build from sources
of the initial 1.0 release, so the all of previous changes always lost.

Because of that it was decided to add support for all six retail versions
of the game, so anyone can choose the version they may like.

One last note about "Disable MSCDEX check (nocd)" patch - if you don't
apply it then any version (except (3) and (6) as mention above) will
exit on load with the following messages:

CD-ROM NOT DETECTED

!! Program abnormally terminated !!

This will happen if the both of next conditions are met:
- MSCDEX driver loaded (emulates automatically in DOSBox if you mount any CD);
- and the game CD was not found.
